Last nights debate.....
Ok.... So I like to think that I'm pretty up to date on politics and current events. But I have to say that I honestly learned nothing from last nights debate. It was an hour and a half of accuse and deny. I don't even think Gov. Palin answered a question. I don't consider myself political and by no means am an expert at analysis, but really.... did she even answer a question? Anyways, hopefully I can pick up some more tid-bits along the way to help choose the better of 2 bads.

New York closer by the day....
"Her eyes swelled up in the bars of soft lights. I drank and
watched her laugh and then we sang out loud in the dying
streets. And I was so drunk my heart floated
like a feather in the breeze.
I got so high off all the blinking lights,
the colors painted in the night.
Midsummer Classic blue and gold-
Our City casts it's shadow."

Following in the footsteps....
I have always considered myself a traveler. I'm embarrased sometimes when I tell people that I have never been west. I am finally after 23 years traveling to the western coast of these fine United States.... oh and Viva Las Vegas..... more fun pics to come.

So what do you shoot?
This was a fantastic weekend, a true eye opener if you may. I spent the weekend in Philadelphia at a Photography Business conference. Now, I have always seen myself as an artist and the "Selling out" was going to be the worst thing I could do. IT DEFINETLY IS NOT!!!!! I came out here to learn what is was going to take to make a career of doing what I love. So, now I'm motivated, I'm doing things, I'm meeting people, I'm learning. I'm learning that I'm not doing enough, so I sit here writing tonight thinking of what it would take to make a career happen. Anyways, the moral of this whole little introduction.... What do you shoot? This question has been asked to me a million times and this was the first weekend when I didn't know the answer. It seems like an easy question.... but sometimes I just don't know.

Too nice out to be inside
yes.... I am officially wasting a beautiful day inside working on photos and a new website. This is an all time low. But, lots of movies and cold pizza will get me through this. We had a good time out last night, I hardly ever get out any more since I've moved here. Being poor sucks, I grew accustomed to that lifestyle of making money and spending money, now, taking both of those things out of the equation, life is a little different, but for the better, gotta grow up sometime.

The First One
Its a Saturday morning and I've been editing photos since 8.... I think I might have crossed the line into being a true dork. Not really in a bad way but in a way I didn't see happening for a long time, but the good news is I think i have a few good pics in the mix.
